I hate poetry
I won't read between the lines
Stating things outright
Suits me just fine
I hate poets
They're emotional and cheesy
The way that they say things
Makes me very queasy
I hate rhyming
And rhythm's even worse
Specially-placed punctuation
Causes me to curse
I hate romance
Angst just makes me mad
I always seem to laugh
When it's supposed to make me sad
I could write a sentence
A dull and stupid bore
But if I write it
like
this
Does it suddenly mean more?

Bwahaha. <3
I always go and try to write some poem like the ones I see in DD and stuff that are all whimsy and somehow oh soo professional and genius!
After 30 minutes I've squeezed out two stanzas that could actually pull it off.
But it sounds so stupid that I just backarrow, backarrow, time for kitchen!.

Just rememeber....the worst days of our lives, the biggest mistakes we make, the most anybody else screws us over...are the times we learn the most to make our future better and brighter.
We need more poems that say something.
Like this one.
P.S. I've always had a chip on for poets with e e cumming's disease.
